Celebrate NATIONAL FOREST PRODUCTS WEEK
With the Tiny Timber Crew®!

Each year during the third week of October, we recognize the importance of the forest industry in our daily lives! During National Forest Products Week, we highlight the countless sustainable products that come from our forests, and the hard-working people who serve in the industry and protect our forested lands!

Join us in outreach this week, and share these resources with students and educators to highlight how the WOODS turn into GOODS we use every day!

The Woods to Goods series introduces students to the people, processes, and careers that connect sustainable forestry to everyday life. Through age-appropriate stories and activities, students discover how trees are planted, managed, harvested, and transformed into paper, lumber, furniture, and other familiar goods—all while learning how forests are renewed for future generations.

Each version includes grade-specific, standards-based activities designed to engage students in learning about renewable resources, forest management, and the value of the forest industry in their communities.

Perfect for classroom use during National Forest Products Week or any unit on natural resources, sustainability, or careers in forestry.
